I DRIVE A ROLLS ROYCE BECAUSE IT'S GOOD FOR MY VOICE

In a moment of fantastic good luck, I realized that the discount powder blue suede wedges I bought today match PERFECTLY with the powder blue cowgirl shirt I bought last week. Thank goodness life is as lucky as this. I now have the ultimate outfit for two-steppin'.

I forgot about this one little part of being in school: having lots of deadlines at the same time, right around Thanksgiving. So, if you wonder what I've been doing with myself, that's it. Lots of reading and writing. Probably I should be doing more of that right now.

Still, poetry grad school is not as dreary as all that. My last few weekends have included, among other things: 1) hanging out in an abandoned castle 2) late night photo shoot with zombie makeup 3) being hit with a pie to the face, quite literally (strawberry creme) 4) after hours dance party in the kitchen of my favorite coffee place 5) magnificent Cleopatra-style tricolor eyeshadow feats. These kind of events are pretty much as mandatory as the reading and writing, in my opinion, this being poetry grad school and all.
