SHE'S WATCHING THE DETECTIVES
I'm trying to find a way to describe this whole younger poets thing to you, but I'm failing. I mean, it's awesome as all hell, but I don't know what to say. Everything is a heartwrenching discussion about the state of poetry, or pure goofiness. And I'm writing a lot. And, well, drinking. You know.
I miss my Pittsburgh friends a great deal. I kind of feel like they don't miss me (Lillian being the exception), but I know how that can be. Like, when somebody isn't in the same place as you, it's easy to just forget about them. Does it seem silly for me to say that? Maybe I'm a little like a girl in the biggest ice cream shop in the world, complaining that there aren't enough cherries.
And wow, I am really glad I don't have a comment function on this blog because you would probably flood me with reassuring little comments. Which is not what I want. What I want is apparently ice cream. So yeah, I'm going to go deal with that.
