IT IS TIME, IT IS TIME WHOA, IT IS TIME FOR STORMY WEATHER
Today I cut my hair before I went to work, and I just realized how much shorter it is than before. Word up, everybody: do NOT cut your hair when you've only had three hours of sleep, because you're in for surprises all day long. Actually, I really like it, but I did cut it a lot shorter than I meant to. And, much to my mother's potential dismay, my bangs are decidedly not straight, but I'd like to think that they look very mod-ish and nice.

Lynn moved out today. By the time I got back from jazz band everything was already gone. They left a sign on the stripped bed that said, "love" and wrote out "GROWTH" on the refrigerator. I changed it to "ANGUISH," but that's only because I have a sense of humor about these things. Kind of. They left the chips that my mom bought for her last weekend, but took the microwave. When I asked earlier today when she was moving out, she said she didn't know.

I'VE BEEN A MINER FOR A HEART OF GOLD
Vale and Year played a great show in the Underground last night. Those of you who didn't make it are suckers, utter jive turkeys because it was so good. Also because Megan and I both wore our black strapless dresses and carried black clutches, just like you're supposed to do. But no, that's not as important as the fact that Dave was really rocking. Such high quality screams and such. Dave, we were all thoroughly impressed. It was a great evening all in all. You'd be amazed (or maybe you wouldn't) at how many people give you very clear looks when you're dressed up to the nines with your best gal and you walk into a cruddy place like the Underground. Everybody assumes you have something better to do with your time than be there, but no, no.

It was so much fun to dress up with Megan. She's the kind of girlfriend who makes everything seem like part of some bigger game, and I love hanging out with her for that very reason. It feels as if everything we do takes on the mantle of legend or legend-to-be, at least while we're there. Everybody needs friends like that. Without them you'll wake up bored all the time.
