IT'S ALL CAFFEINE-FREE AND FAUX PUNK FATIGUES

Today I realized that I look like a total beatnik. Exhibit A: I went ahead and dyed my hair black this week. No more fucking around with dark brown. It's black. You know that haircut Uma Therman had in "Pulp Fiction"? That's me now. Exhibit B: I'm wearing a black turtleneck and jeans. Exhibit C: The rhinestone sunglasses. The hand-rolled cigarette. Uh-oh.

Except, under the black turtleneck, I'm wearing a red t-shirt that says I AM UN CHIEN ANDALUSIA in fuzzy letters.

The real reason for this digression: I'm writing a paper on Sherwood Anderson right now. You might know Sherwood Anderson by his book, Winesburg, Ohio. Or you might not. Or, you might think that I should be writing the paper right now instead of playing around on the internet, but I already have two pages and I just started at noon, and that's pretty good, no? Okay. You're right.

I do look like a beatnik, though.
